Jackson & Perkins™ has approximately 150 years of history and has been recognized as a brand of premium garden roses.  Jackson & Perkins™ is one of the largest direct to consumer retailers of bare root roses in the United States, selling over 150 active varieties of bare root roses. Jackson & Perkins™ has held and continues to hold patents on many rose varieties.  In addition to bare root roses, Jackson & Perkins™ sells perennials, flower bulbs, outdoor living products as well as living holiday gifts plants.  Holiday gifts include fresh evergreen wreathes, live, miniature, decorated Christmas trees and holiday amaryllis.

Park Seed® is one of America’s oldest and largest direct to consumer seed retailers with over 150 years in the business. As a leader within the direct-to-consumer seed business, Park Seed® sells premium vegetable seeds, flower seeds, plugs and various gardening supplies directly to consumers. Park Seed® also sells seeds, plants and other horticultural products in larger quantities through catalogs and our in-house sales representative team to small-medium sized growers, nurseries and garden centers. 

Wayside Gardens®, founded approximately 100 years ago, sells unique plants, trees, and bulbs to the seasoned garden enthusiast. Wayside Gardens® seeks to be the gardening industry leader by offering larger, healthier plants in larger containers, outstanding and unusual varieties of high quality and staff horticulturists available to provide telephone and email assistance to its customers.  

Van Dyke’s Restorers® is an online and catalog retailer with a vast assortment of vintage home restoration wood products, hardware and antique furniture, many of which are rare to find in conventional furniture stores and big box retailers. Van Dyke’s Restorers®’ focus is on hardware, decorative wood, home accents, knobs and pulls and kitchen, bath and other décor.

Team

Kelly Funk joined us in July 2018 as Vice President in charge of a $6.5 million business unit, was promoted to President in October of that same year, and took an expanded role as President & CEO in June 2021.  Ms. Funk is responsible for the strategic vision, growth plan, end-to-end customer experience, as well as operational and financial results for all business lines.  Through her leadership, we have navigated unpredictable market dynamics, shifting product trends, and changes in consumer behavior.  Previously, Ms. Funk was Vice President, Customer Experience, of U.S. Bank, from March 2016 until July 2018. Ms. Funk has also had leadership, sales, marketing, customer experience, and merchant positions with several other Fortune 500 companies, including Target and Best Buy. 

Anthony Davis serves as our Chief Operating Officer and General Manager, positions he has held since October 2018.  Mr. Davis is responsible for creating a safe and efficient work environment, setting and achieving metrics and goals that deliver financial results, and overseeing the daily production and fulfillment of products that meet or exceed customer expectations.  Mr. Davis has been our Chief Operating Officer since 2015, and was our Vice President of Operations from 2010 to 2015.  Mr. Davis was employed by our Park Seed® segment from 2006 to 2010 where he served as Director of Operations.  Prior to joining Park Seed®, Mr. Davis was Process Improvement Manager at Milliken & Company.  Prior to that he also served as Senior Production Manager, Supply Chain Manager and Product/Process Improvement Specialist with Milliken & Company.
